Do you "Over-Hype" your prospects? If yes, please STOP!

Hello! Kamusta na? I hope you're doing well. And I hope you're learning a lot in the lessons I posted here.

Power dito! Chika-chika lang, tapos after a week, CHEKE-CHEKE na!" (continuously waving his payout check)

This is a very common scene, yung Hype recruiting or Baliwan is very common strategy na ginagawa ng mga Uplines at mga Leaders. For today's lesson, iseshare ko lang yung thoughts ko about this unethical practice of some MLMers.
Kasi yung nagkkwentois totally walang-wala, then in a matter of months, kumikita na ng malaki, and now driving his own car,in which mahirap ma-attain kung nasa normal na pag-eempleyo ka lang.

Maaring may katotohanan yung mga sinasabi nila, na they are able to achieve those in a very short period of time. Kaya lang, they
forgot to share something. Unfortunately, most of them didn't shared the whole story behind their super quick success.

They forgot to tell you that...

The speakers has been to MLM  for more than 5 years and been to several MLM companies already. Ibig sabihin, they already have the experience, skills, and knowledge needed in order to succeed in the business. sa MLM. And they already established contacts and followers (could be their uplines, downlines, or crosslines from their previous companies) na willing sumama sa kanila saan mang kumpanya man sila mag-join, kaya madali na lang sila nakapag buo ng team at ng kanilang organization.

Or...

They forgot to tell you that galing na pala sila sa isang kumpanya na nagsara at sinalpak nila yung kanilang existing na grupo/team in this new company, which is the reason of the fast growth of their organization, as well as their pay-out checks.

Or...

Ginamitan nila ng sistema, also known as KAMADA system, kaya anglalaki ng cheke nila linggo-linggo.

Or even worst...

Very common na ang ganitong tactics/strategies to motivate
prospects to join the opportunity, but for me, these practices are VERY UNETHICAL. Why? Because what they know is just the half of the story.

If your prospect doesn't know the whole story, they will join because of false hopes and false expectations.

Why?

Kasi aakalain nila that MLM is a "walk in the park" (madali lang gawin) that everyone can do very easily and earn big money in a short period of time. Hindi nila alam na Network Marketing requires a lot of work and dedication to become successful. Akala nila ang kailangan lang nila na mapa-join is dalawang tao lang which a big mistake! This is the biggest reason the retension rate in MLM is very low. The prospect joins because of the wrong reason and after they've join, they will realize the truth that MLM is tough. Then they'll quit after a couple of months or baka couple of weeks lang. Ouch!

Ito ang trend ngayon ng Network Marketing here in the Philippines, maraming upline leaders out there na ang main focus is to Hype people than to really help them solve their prospect's problems.

Eto pang malupet... Kapag umattend ka ng mga MLM company trainings you will be shocked kung anong tinuturo nila sa mga members nila. They will tell them to do things like invest their remaining savings, borrow money, even sell their belongings (the B.U.S.H. system) just to raise the capital needed. Ang focus nila is magpa-payin ng magpa-payin, chumeke ng chumeke... instead of helping them in making the right decision.

Na MLM is a get-rich quick business, which is not. Ang resulta? Negative feedback and bad publicity, hindi lang sa mga companies, but the industry itself. Eto oh:

Ouch!

At marami pang iba...

Instead of using hype para makapag-pasali, let's help our prospects decide. Our prospects will appreciate us, and join, when they know that we are HONEST with them. Again, PEOPLE LIKE TO WORK WITH PEOPLE THEY LIKE AND TRUST. PERIOD.

I wrote this because I am so concerned about our industry. Let's protect the industry. Let's rebuild its credibility. Let's define HYPE as an acronym that means Help Your People Earn.

I hope you learned something for today's lesson. Till next time. God Bless you.

To your Success,
